Directions
Cut the chicken into thin slices and transfer them to a bowl.
Add salt, lemon juice, ginger garlic green chilli paste, curd, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala, and oil.
Mix well, marinate the chicken for 1-2 hours, or proceed directly to cooking.
Skewer the marinated chicken on satay sticks (optional).
Heat a pan over high heat, add oil, and let it heat up.
Cook the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side, searing it without fully cooking. Set aside.
Blend tomatoes, garlic, ginger, green chilli, coriander stems, soaked cashews, Kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder into a fine puree.
Chop onions, garlic, ginger, and green chillies finely using a chopper.
Heat a deep pan or kadhai over high flame. Add butter and oil.

Lower the flame, add turmeric powder and Kashmiri red chilli powder with a splash of water. Stir briefly.

Add the seared chicken to the gravy, adjust consistency with hot water if needed.
