Ingredients
1
20 grams Roasted arabica coffee beans
180 ml Full - fat milk
half teaspoon Sugar
Tips
Use freshly ground coffee beans for the best flavor.
To achieve the perfect froth, position the steam wand just below the milk’s surface and create a whirlpool effect.
For a bolder latte, use a double shot of espresso instead of a single.
You can substitute full-fat milk with almond milk or oat milk for a dairy-free version.
Always clean your coffee machine’s steam wand immediately after use to prevent milk residue buildup.
Directions
Using 20 grams of roasted Arabica coffee beans, grind them to a fine consistency for espresso.
Add the ground coffee to your machine’s portafilter and tamp it down evenly. Insert it into the coffee machine.
Brew a shot (about 30 ml) of espresso using the coffee machine. This forms the base of your latte.
Using the steam wand, froth 180 ml of milk to create a smooth and velvety texture. Make sure not to overheat the milk, aiming for a temperature of about 65°C.
Pour the freshly brewed espresso into a cup. Slowly add the steamed milk, holding back the foam with a spoon. Finally, top off your latte with a spoonful of milk foam.
Add sugar if desired and give it a light stir. Your creamy, delicious latte is ready to enjoy!
Notes
People with heart conditions or those sensitive to caffeine should limit their intake due to the stimulating effects.
Those with lactose intolerance should either opt for lactose-free or plant-based milk alternatives.
Pregnant women should consult a healthcare professional before consuming coffee, as high caffeine intake is not recommended.
