First Marination

half kg Fish Fillet
Salt as per taste
1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
half piece Lemon Juice
1 tablespoon Mustard oil
1 teaspoon Kasuri methi
quarter teaspoon Asafoetida
Directions
In a mixing bowl, add 500 grams of sliced fish fillet.
Add salt to taste.
Mix in 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste, ½ lime juice, and 1 tablespoon of mustard oil.
Add 1 teaspoon of crushed kasuri methi and ¼ teaspoon of asafoetida.
Mix everything well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
Second Marination

2 tbsp Curd
1 tablespoon Rice flour
2 tbsp Gram Flour
half teaspoon Carom seeds
Oil as per needed
half tablespoon Mustard oil
Directions
In the same bowl, add 1 teaspoon of degi mirch powder.
Add 2 tablespoons of curd, 1 tablespoon of rice flour, 2 tablespoons of gram flour, and ½ teaspoon of carom seeds.
Mix everything well and set it aside.

Directions
Heat oil in a kadai. Once hot, deep fry the marinated fish till nicely done.
Alternatively, heat oil in a grill pan, skewer the marinated fish on a satay stick, and grill until crisp and golden.
Drain and place on absorbent paper.
Garnish with onion rings, lemon wedge, and coriander sprig.
Each serving of Amritsari Fish Tikka is approximately 125 grams.
