1 cup Flax seeds
1 cup Pumpkin seeds
1 cup Seedless dates
half cup Walnuts
quarter cup Cocoa powder
1 tablespoon Ghee
1 cup Seedless dates
Tips
Store these ladoos in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or refrigerate for longer shelf life.
Replace ghee with coconut oil for a vegan version of this recipe.

Directions
Heat a pan over medium heat.
Roast 1 cup flax seeds, 0.5 cup walnuts and 1 cup pumpkin seeds until aromatic. Let them cool.
Add 0.25 cup cocoa powder to the seed powder. Mix well.
Soak 1 cup seedless dates in water for about 10 minutes.
Grind the soaked dates into a smooth paste.
Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan.
Add the date paste and cook until it thickens.
Add the thickened date paste to the cocoa-seed mixture. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
Shape the mixture into small ladoos, each about 20 g in size. You should get approximately 25 ladoos.

Due to the natural sugar content in dates, those with diabetes should consume these ladoos in moderation or seek advice from a nutritionist.
