4 grams Ginger
10 grams Garlic
15 grams Coriander
15 grams Mint
80 grams Green Peas
130 grams Blanched spinach puree
100 grams Boiled and grated potato
80 grams Low - fat paneer
30 grams Bread Crumbs
1 tablespoon Oil
Salt as per taste
1 tablespoon Chaat masala
quarter teaspoon Garam Masala
Tips
Ensure the spinach mixture is cooled before mixing with other ingredients to avoid excess moisture.
You can replace bread crumbs with oats for a gluten-free version.
For added flavor, you can incorporate some roasted cumin powder.
Directions
Prepare Ingredients:
Blanch the 1/2 cup green peas (boil in water for 1-2 minutes, then remove and cool).
Puree the blanched spinach.
Boil and grate the 1 potato.
Grate the low-fat paneer.
Make a paste of 1 inch ginger, 5 garlic, 4 green chilies, 1/4 cup coriander, and 1/4 cup mint leaves.
Cook the Spinach and Peas:
Heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon of oil.
Add the spinach puree and blanched green peas to the pan.
Sauté, add salt to taste, and cook until the mixture thickens slightly and water evaporates.
Combine Ingredients:
Transfer the thickened mixture to a bowl and let it cool.
Add the ginger-garlic-chili-coriander-mint paste, grated paneer, boiled and grated potato, chaat masala, garam masala and 30g bread crumbs.
Mix well to combine all ingredients.
Form Kababs:
Divide the mixture into equal parts (approx. 50g each) to make about 9 tikkis.
Place half a cashew on each tikki.
Air Fry:
Preheat your air fryer.Place the tikkis in the air fryer basket.
Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for about 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Serving Size
Makes 9 kababs, serving size: 2 kabab.
