1 tablespoon Mustard seeds
1 tablespoon Cumin seeds
8 pieces Green Chilies
15 pieces Curry leaves
quarter cup Peanuts
1 tablespoon Turmeric powder
2 cups Thick poha
Salt as per taste
1 teaspoon Sugar
Tips
Adjust the spiciness according to your preference by adding or reducing the amount of green chilies.
For extra crunch, you can roast the peanuts before adding them to the premix.
Store the premix in an airtight container to maintain its freshness.
Directions
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chopped green chilies, and curry leaves. Saute until aromatic.
Add peanuts and saute until lightly browned.
Stir in turmeric powder, followed by thick poha, salt, and sugar. Mix well and saute for 3-4 minutes.
Allow the poha premix to cool completely, then store it in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 21 days.
In a bowl, take 60 grams of poha premix.
Add 60 ml of hot water and let it rest for 3-5 minutes.
Mix well and enjoy the flavorful and nutritious poha.
