1 teaspoon Mustard seeds

1 teaspoon Cumin seeds

quarter teaspoon Asafoetida hing

quarter teaspoon Fenugreek seeds

4 pieces Garlic Cloves

6 pieces Curry leaves

1 piece Red chili

half teaspoon Turmeric powder

half teaspoon Red chili powder

1 cup Raw mango pulp

2 cups Coconut milk

1 cup Water

2 tbsp Jaggery

Salt as per taste

Tips

Adjust the amount of red chili powder according to your spice preference.

Feel free to add more water if you prefer a thinner kadhi consistency.

Directions

Heat oil in a Kadhai (wok) over medium heat. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, fenugreek seeds, garlic, curry leaves, and dried red chili. Sauté until fragrant.

Stir in turmeric powder and red chili powder.

Add raw mango pulp (from 2 steamed raw mangoes) and mix well.

Pour in coconut milk and water. Add jaggery and salt. Stir to combine.

Let it simmer for 6-8 minutes, adjusting consistency as desired.
