Roohafza Milk is known for its cooling properties, making it beneficial for combating heatstroke and dehydration during scorching summers. However, individuals with diabetes should consume it in moderation due to its sugar content.
Ingredients
2
half liter Low - fat milk
50 ml Roohafza syrup
1 tablespoon Chopped almonds
1 tablespoon Pistachios
1 tablespoon Cashews
1 tablespoon Soaked basil seeds
1 tablespoon Rose water
Directions
In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium flame until it comes to a gentle boil.
Once the milk starts boiling, reduce the flame and add Roohafza syrup. Stir well until the syrup is completely incorporated into the milk.
Add chopped almonds, pistachios, and cashews to the milk. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool down slightly.
Stir in soaked and chopped basil seeds (sabja) and rose water.
Transfer the Roohafza Milk into serving glasses filled with ice cubes (if using).
Garnish with a sprinkle of chopped dry fruits on top.
Serve chilled and enjoy the refreshing goodness of Roohafza Milk!
Notes
Adjust the quantity of Roohafza syrup according to your taste preferences.
Soak basil seeds (sabja) in water for about 10-15 minutes before using to allow them to swell up.
You can also add a pinch of cardamom powder for enhanced flavor.
For a creamier texture, use full-fat milk instead of low-fat milk.
